What this website collects, and what it doesn't.
This policy covers banashi.app, the marketing site. The Banashi iOS app will have its own, separate privacy policy when it ships.
Email addresses (the waitlist)
If you sign up for the beta waitlist, we store your email address in a Cloudflare D1 database. We use it only to contact you about the beta. We do not sell, share, or forward the list to anyone. If you'd like us to remove you, email [email protected] and we will delete your record.
Traffic analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. Cloudflare's implementation is privacy-preserving by design: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint users, and does not record individual visitor identifiers. We see things like "how many page views did /about get this week"; we do not see individual browsing sessions.
Cookies
This site uses no cookies of its own. A Cloudflare infrastructure cookie
(__cf_bm) may be set by Cloudflare's bot management; this is a first-party
cookie that expires after ~30 minutes and is used solely to distinguish human visitors from
automated traffic.
Spam protection on the form
The waitlist form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that submissions are from humans. Turnstile runs invisibly and does not set tracking cookies. When you submit, a hashed form of your IP is stored briefly alongside your record for basic rate limiting; we do not store your IP in plaintext and never correlate it with your email for any other purpose.
Third-party content
This site does not embed third-party advertising, social pixels, or analytics beyond what is listed above. Fonts are self-hosted. No content is loaded from third-party CDNs except Turnstile (only on the form) and Cloudflare's own infrastructure.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy we'll note the date here. Material changes that affect people who have already signed up for the waitlist will prompt an email notice.
